4 whole grain or whole wheat hot dog buns, split
2 bananas, sliced

Directions

Apple and Cheese
Spread 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese on the cut sides of 4 whole wheat hot dog buns. Arrange one-fourth of the banana slices in each bun. top each dog with 1/4 cup of chopped apples and 1 tablespoon of dried cranberries.

Peanut-Berry and Banana
Spread 2 tablespoons peanut butter, almond butter, or soy butter on cut sides of 4 whole wheat hot dog buns. Arrange one-fourth of the banana slices in each bun. Top each dog with 1/4 cup of chopped strawberries.

Blueberries and Cream
In a bowl, stir together 4 ounces of softened cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of strawberry jam. Spread mixture on the cut sides of 4 whole wheat hot dog buns. Arrange one-fourth of the banana slices in each bun. Top bananas in each bun with 1/4 cup blueberries.
