Also, I wouldn't get Britney Murphy as my sitter. As far as "dashing outside to check in," how often do people check in?? I maybe call once, and that's only if it's a new sitter. If they have a question, they can text me, but generally, there's no need to keep in contact. I think it's a given that if a sitter is spending the night they're paid a lot more. That applies no matter what night it is.

Since it's a holiday I would pay the sitter a little more then I would for any other day. Especially if you want them to spend the night and take care of your kids in the morning.
