Many of you think that celebrating a baby's birth is essential — no matter how many siblings precede them. But, guests often wonder what to bring to such a party as the mom is already outfitted with swings, high chairs and strollers.

Where's diapers? The best idea for a new mom, especially one that has a lot of the basics already, is diapers. Or, if she's cloth-diapering, diaper covers.
I begged people not to give us white onesies because they rarely lasted more than a day or two. *lol* I'd love a carseat cover for our Triumph, though. But I'm pretty sure they don't make one that size.
1Great ideas babysugar! On the subject of diapers, diapers.com has gift certificates which make great presents. It's an amazing service. I can't believe I used to lug organic baby food jars, wipes, diapers, detergent, baby products, etc. from the store with my kids. Now I just order online and it's at my house the next day. I don't even pay shipping.
