Baby Hairy Bertoia: Kid Friendly or Are You Kidding?

Designers call the mini vintage Harry Bertoia chair a "classic revitalization," but I'm not certain your average mom would agree. The chair, $850, is made up of more than 2,500 strands of closed-cell extruded sponge cord hand knotted to the chair form. While the look is incredibly fun, I can't imagine cleaning it is a picnic in the park. Would you buy this for your kid's room?

it is so ugly and even that little girl looks uncomfortable and scared of it lol

that is the craziest looking thing that I have seen in a long time! (you're so right blackjade...that thing could gobble a kid whole!)but to spend 850$ on something that is near impossible to clean spills up off of is a little ridiculous!
