Baby Bump: Bella Band

I too couldn't stand the bella band. I didn't think it worked as well as a diaper pin (or other giant safety pin!) or the pony tail holder. Then, once those didn't work, it was time for maternity pants!!

I bought them but unfortunately I couldn't stand anything about my stomach as it made me so nauseous. I still think it is a great product even though it didn't work for me. I'm nearly 8 months now and just bought the cutest pair of under belly jeans but they fall down after I take 5 steps. I should try one of my bands to see if they help. I've really had a rough time finding pants that I like/fit into.

I have the bella band and it is very effective. The band at Motherhood is a one size fits all deal and I didn't feel like it had the grip that I needed. The bella band comes in sizes so that is a plus, in my opinion. The only downside with the band is you have to fix it after sitting for a while and as your belly expands the fabric can be a little uncomfortable as sometimes I just don't want anything on my belly. But pregnancy pants suck and they are constantly falling down. With this band you can at least shop without having to pull at your pants the whole time.

I did the same hair tie job! I also found that they sell the same basic principle at Motherhood- for like, $16. Also, you could use a tube top- if you had/have one.

That's exactly what I did, t0x! :) I didn't fit into even the smallest maternity jeans until I was about seven months pregnant, so I was wearing my regular jeans for the bulk of my pregnancy. A friend of mine was two months behind me but popped very early, and she had great success with the Bella Band.

I also found that if your reg jeans fit but wont button you can take a hair band like used to make a pony tail and loop that thru the hole and connect it around the button :) then just wear a longer shirt and your cool
