Um...here's a cheaper option, a floppy hat and sunglasses for my baby (and mom). Totally recommend Baby Banz...adjustable sunglass for babes. =)

Or You could do as my mother, and use a uv protective umbrella, shields both parent and child from harmful uv rays

I'd still go with the stroller. When my daughter was a baby, she couldn't stand being worn because she couldn't tolerate the outside heat combined with an adult's body heat.

Err. We have a Baby Bjorn and while I would love to have this, as I live in the sweltering summer heat of central California, I would not want to pay this price.The Baby Bjorn was expensive enough on it's own.

I have a baby due in July, so I was definitely wondering why they didn't have a product like this given that they have one intended to protect baby from cold temperatures. I agree with the previous poster though--the price is high! I think the winter one was like $40, which seems a lot more appropriate to me.
