Fill in the blank. You know you’re a mother when ____. ......your reaction to crying babies in the store or restaurant goes from "How annoying." to "Oh no, I need to help! Does that poor little thing need milk? paci? snuggle? toy? sleep?" Fill in the blank. Why didn’t anybody tell me _____ about motherhood? ......that as soon as I think I have my child figured out, she grows again and all my old tricks don't work anymore? What’s the best trick your mama (or parent) taught you? Do not drive your adult children crazy. Helicopter mom or free range kids? The helicopter is on aerial standby. :) My daughter is only three, so there are times I have to hover...but the only way she'll learn about life is to live life without me trying to keep her free from all suffering.
