Last week we had the pleasure of traveling down to Paradise Island in the Bahamas to check out the grand opening of the Atlantis Resort's new kids club courtesy of JetBlue, Atlantis and LEGO. During our stay, we explored the resort's heart-pumping water park, tested out some of the latest technology, toured aquariums, and swam with the dolphins. Check out the highlights here!
The snowy and rainy weather makes for a lot of runny noses this time of year. You may know all the differences between a cold and H1N1, but do you know when a cold can be classified as RSV? Take the quiz to see what you know.
Choose a favorite children's book – be it a classic or simply one of your tot's favorite tomes – and writing a heartfelt inscription in the cover. The thoughtful gift can easily become a family heirloom and may pave the way for future birthday gifts that complete the collection of books by the same author.

Generations of families have made a tradition out of gathering around the game Monopoly for a night of competitive fun. It is on the beloved square board that many youngsters saved up to buy their first home or hotel. While sisters and brothers squabbled over pawns — who got to be the dog, the boot, or the race car — they also learned to count bills by testing out their banking skills. In honor of the game's 75th anniversary, Hasbro modernized the game's look with a circular makeover (CasaSugar has all the details!). Will you purchase the new version?
I feel (quite strongly) that this video supports my earlier assertion that NO big decisions should be made until one year postpartum. And by big decisions, I mean recreating a Beyonce video, converting the theme to sling wearing, and sharing it on YouTube.
Patricia Heaton is hysterical as Frankie Heck, a midwest mom of three who tries to make ends meet by selling used cars in ABC's sitcom The Middle. Though the show is relatively new, it already has its share of memorable moments and situations to which any harried mother can relate. Check out a few of my favorites:
Despite being near-broke and constantly pulled in different directions, Frankie is still head over heels in love her husband Mike. They celebrate their anniversary with a road trip to the carpet remnant store and shack up in a cheap motel.
Sue believes a pair of cool jeans will change her life, and even though she needs a lot more help to blend in, Frankie breaks the bank and buys her the dungarees . . . then accidentally shrinks them.
Brick is sick, so Frankie (being the working girl that she is) bundles him up and puts him in the back of one of the cars on the lot to rest — only an unknowing customer takes the vehicle out for a spin.
Frankie grabs 15 minutes of me time by locking the door of a public bathroom, painting her toe nails, putting on a maxi pad mask, and turning off her cell phone; in that time, everything goes awry.
Short on time and resources, Frankie steals sugar cubes from the work coffee table for Brick's school project, a model that he was building just for fun.
When Frankie (or any member of the Heck family) "makes dinner'" they pick up takeout. Then, the fivesome sit down on the couch and watch TV while eating burgers and fries out of their paper bags.
