Sure there are standard parts of being pregnant —weight gain, morning sickness and swollen ankles. But the nine months are also filled with wonderful perks.
Hearing the first heartbeat, feeling fluttering and finally delivering are incredible experiences, but those memorable moments aside, what was the best unexpected perk that came with your baby bump?

My skin was as good as it gets during my first pregnancy. I'm not there yet with this one, but I'm still hoping.

i was going to say "no need to suck in stomach" but it's so ingrained in me that I still find myself doing it at 6 months pregnant!

all the massages. my partner doesn't normally give them so freely, lol. my hair and skin looking awesome is a close second, though.

My skin is wrecked, but my hair and nails are looking great. I didn't break out with my other two pregnancies so I don't know what gives. I'd have said the eating, but nothing tastes right so I can't really enjoy eating.

I loved the fact that no stomach sucking in thing! I generally loved being pregnant though too - to the point I was sad that my baby would not be in my belly anymore.

The boobs. Ha ha ha! No, I really loved how happy and excited everyone around you gets about the pregnancy and coming baby. But, also I loved the boobs.

I loved the not sucking in your stomach thing. I also like the whole not getting your period also. Between pregancy and nursing, I haven't had my period in over a year. It's so convenient!

I put hair, but really it was not having the 'time of the month' that was a perk for me.

Seriously, not having to suck in your stomach! I got so used to that and it's been hard for me post-pregnancy to remember to suck it in. Boo.

I also loved being waited on all the time..and that you don't get your period .
And mostly that my husband is extremely attentive to all of my needs.
I bet my husband would too.
I think its a mixture of these things, I chose complexion though because when I was pregnant my skin was flawless...not so much afterwards
