If your fit family bike rides with the tots in tow, beware of this recent bulletin. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall for 7,000 of Pacific Cycle's children's trailer bicycles. The faulty ones include InStep “Pathfinder,” Schwinn “Run About,” and Mongoose “Alley Cat” sold between January 2007 and August 2007. The release said:
"The coupler connecting the children’s trailer bike to the adult’s bicycle has welds that can fail, posing a fall hazard to children."
If you have a recalled wagon, discontinue use immediately and contact Tricam Industries for a refund.

1We've been wanting one of these for awhile. We'll definitely keep this info in mind when looking for one. Obviously not an issue for a new one, but we may try for used.
