I have such a hard time watching this show because she's so condescending to Jon. So generally, I just don't watch it. I end up wanting to punch her in the throat.

We are TOTALLY addicted to this show at our house...even our 4 yr old loves it!

I LOVE this show. They all seem so real, as opposed to those Quiverfull families (No offense intended, but they kind of give me the heebie jeebies).

Watching the show makes me feel like life with a 2 year old and a 9 month old is easy.

ellipsery — I agree that they seem real. When you've got eight kids, you've got some chaos and of course, the parents are going to banter back and forth. Since the kids are healthy and happy, I think they are doing something right. And kudos to Jon and Kate for taking their troops everywhere from the zoo to Disneyland even when they are exhausted.

I LOVE this show! I think that Kate is a great mom, and runs her home in a more organized fashion than most parents with 1 kid! While it is true that she can be snippy with her husband sometimes (can you imagine the stress of 6 2-year-olds??!!), it seems real. I would hate to have video cameras following me around catching any and every flaw. I commend them for raising 8 kids in such a way that even though there are so many of them, they still get to have a normal childhood.

I love this show! I can't imagine having 8 children, let alone one!!! My husband complains when I watch it, but secretly I think he likes it.

I love this show!!!! Even though Kate does control and complain a bit...she at least owns up to it...and he seems to know that her control balances out his laid back attitude

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! OMG! I kinda like that Kate snaps at Jon. It's real. Parents snap at each other even WITHOUT 8 young kids, 6 being toddlers.

BUT! Does anyone know where I can download or watch this show online? I want to see the first season, and I'm going back to school soon, so won't be able to watch this new season on TV. :[

oh i love this show! sometimes the parents snapping at each other annoys me, and kate is obvy a control freak, but at least they're not trying to portray the perfect family or anything. and for whatever reason, it seems to work. love it!!

For some reason I thought 8 kids would seem crazier on camera. I think because they are so small it doesn't seem that extreme yet.

I'm obsessed with this show! The family runs really smoothly for 8 kids and I can't believe how big they got compared to last season!

I love this show and the way they are handling things together!

I love this family!! I've been a fan since they did their first hour special. I made my boyfriend watch it w/ me and now he's addicted too, he thinks the little girls are so precious. =) I'm so surprised at how disciplined the kids are, you'd think w/ 8 kids, they'd be monsters. but even though they are still quite young, when Kate says "time out!" they go straight into the corner, knowing that they need to be punished.

I hate this show. Their kids are uncontrolled brats and she's on some high and mighty horse. I can't stomach them or the kids or the husband!!

The thing I love best about the show is that they come off as so real. Hate the wife or love her, at least it's not an act.

Sometimes Kate's tone really gets to me. Of course she is bound to be a bit short with Jon, they do have 8 kids to deal with, 6 of whom are toddlers. Still, there is being snipping and there is being disrespectful. Usually she's not that bad but sometimes she speaks to him like he's an idiot and other times she'll talk about him and his past mistakes when he is right there and just put him down for it.

Anyway, that is beside the point haha I absolutely love this show! Aaden is my favorite of the children. He's so sweet and just a perfect mixture of personality and kindness. I also love Cara and Alexis, Cara for being a sweet genuinely good kid and Alexis for just being hilarious.
