Spice up your reading library with this selection from Bill Martin Jr. A well-worn copy of his Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See is probably sitting on your child's bookshelf right now.
I was recently introduced to one of his later books, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and our entire family bopped along to its rhythmic beat.
The quirky story, about the letters of the alphabet all trying to climb up a coconut tree, is filled with jazzy lines that are sure to put a smile on your lil one's face. The book is an introduction to the alphabet and lines such as, "Skit skat skoodle doot. Flip flop flee. Everybody running to the coconut tree" remind you that all books do not have to have a point in order to be enjoyed. Scholastic has even created a short movie about it!

My kids both love this one. And I love reading it to them! It's fun because it's so rythmic.

4this was released after I was a kid, but my girls LOVE it. It's become a standard gift to give from us, since most kids end up loving it!
