Now that the gifts are opened and tossed around your living room, it's time to thank those doting family members who spoiled your child rotten.
If your lil one is old enough to write, have a contest to see who can write the most thank you notes in a specific time frame. It will encourage you both to write your letters in a time efficient manner. And, for added incentive, pull out some crayons and let them draw a picture on each note. Your kid and the gift giver will love the personalized artistic touch.

i am so bad about getting thank you notes out...

My mom always said that she hoped if I learned one thing from here it would be to
write (not type!) thank you notes for every gift received.

3As an aunt of 6, believe me; the thank you notes are really appreciated. I always hear from 4 but never from 2, and as much as I'd like to overlook it, I find that difficult to do. Start them young so it's a habit. Good manners never go out of style.
4My son is able to sign his and his sister's names to our thank you notes for the first time this year. I think its really good to get them involved as young as possible! Great tips.
