What Was the Most Popular Stroller of 2007?

Strollers have become quite the status symbol for new mamas and their babes. The Rolls–Royce of strollers used to be the Bugaboo, but now it's competing with the Mercedes–like Orbit and the Ferrari–like Stokke. More recently, the Quinny has entered the US market, making it the Audi of the group. Still, there is the old reliable Volvo of strollers – the MacLaren.

With so many celeb moms out there struttin' their stuff and pushing hot rides, we have to ask, which stroller do you think was most popular in 2007?

I absolutely love the Bugaboo, but it's way out of my price range. Sad Actually, all of those are.

    I'm just slingin'.

Thanks to some generous friends, I just got a Maclaren Techno XLR for my shower, and at $350, it reaches my upper limit for a stroller. But whenever I see the higher-end models out and about, I admit I stare with a bit of envy.

How about good old Graco??? I did get a Mac Laren Umbrella stroller, which I used a lot though. But my Graco Metrolite was great for the beginning when he was still in a carseat.

I've always said that when it's time for Mini-Me, she's going to be pushed around in a relatively inexpensive stroller. I'll spend $100 on that, put the rest of the money in her collage fund!

To be absolutely truthful I don't really like the look of any of those except the Maclaren and maybe the Bugaboo
But I'll wind up with a Graco probably and be proud to use it!! lol Smiling I'm with Bella - put the money towards college.

I had a Martinelli with Jonah (Peg Perego's Italian line) and everywhere we went people stopeed me to ask me where I got it. I used my strollers a lot though, so I coulf justify the money. Pluse he was a sicky baby and it had the boot and hood that zipped on and kept him away from germs and strangers.

I had two Peg Perego's years ago. I also had a Martinelli high chair. They were definitely attention getters. I think I would have gotten a bugaboo if they were out at the time.

I've got a MacLaren which is perfect for running errands and traveling. It's not so great in the winter though so we use the Emmaljunga then.

I LOVE my MacLaren and have had no problems navigating my way through stores where I have seen moms with the giant strollers have to leave their babes for seconds while they get what they need. And with the Stokke recall, I'm glad I saved my $800!

The Bugaboo was definitely a big hit in the States (although it's been quite popular in Europe for quite a few years now) but I personnally prefer the Stokke...
And that's the nanny speaking! I believe more magazines should turn towards nannies and regular babysitters to find out what the best strollers and other daily baby gear are the best : we really don't care of how "fashionable" a stroller looks like. Really, when you're in a rush and need to get the three kids at home, prepare dinner, bathe them and put them to bed on time so that you can still study for university later in the evening, you're definitely aiming for the most practical one.

The Orbit is the most earth friendly and is definately the easiest to use. It's important to note that it's a car seat and a stroller in one.

I have had the Orbit for a while now and I could not be happier! It makes traveling so easy in how it docks from the car onto the stroller in just seconds. Everywhere I go I am always stopped and asked where I got it (even from cab drivers!) My baby is always perfectly comfortable and the ride is very smooth.I would recommend it to any new parent!
