Have you ever gone to a restaurant and been surprised to find out that they don't have highchairs? I have, too many times.
I started carrying my Phil and Ted's Me Too Chair ($50) with me everywhere. All I have to do is slip it onto a sturdy table and tighten the screws so it's securely attached. The lightweight, small chair fits right in the basket of my stroller so if I'm running out for lunch with friends, I can always guarantee that my lil one has a place to sit (other than my lap).

1That looks... too flimsy. I wouldn't put a baby in something that looks like that.
2We were just talking about getting one after being at houses for the holidays that did not have a highchair.
In a pinch you can use the stroller - we have.

5Well they have more then the brand shown here. they also have them that you can strap to a the seat of a chair. They are a definite for when you have a very active 1 year old who doesn't stay in one place for too long.
6The chair is actually very stable. You tighten it onto the table. Obviously if the table is flimsy, it's not going to work. But it doesn't leave scratches. It has protective covers on the metal bases probably just for that reason. And it collapses so it becomes flat, which means you can pack it easily in a suitcase, too. Great for vacations.
7OMG I was at thanksgiving dinner and my uncle pulled one out for my 1 and 1/2 year cousin.... and I was amazed at how strong it held up to her bouncing around in it.... My uncle told my other uncle with a daughter the same age... that this this is a lifesaver... and he couldn't believe my other uncle didnt have one...

10yeah it doesn't look that strong to me.. I'd imagine a law suit lol.
11I own this travel high chair, as well as the Chicco model, and this one is great! It is very sturdy - my baby is 25 lbs, and still sits very comfortably! Just make sure the TABLE is sturdy.
