The svelte Keri Russell, who credits her lithe bod to genetics and breastfeeding, was on The View this morning talking about her labor of love, five-month-old son, River Russell Deary. And, the 38 hours the actress spent in labor delivering him. We've been fans of Keri since her Felicity days, but now we're in awe! Obviously, motherhood is agreeing with her.

Sherri Shepherd sounds so jealous...but maybe it's just me. But Good Lord, 38 hours!
1My sister has four kids, the first was 72 hours, second 24 hours, third 7 days (yep, she started a week earlier and gave birth 7 days later), fourth, 36 hours. My other sister had 9 hours and an induced labor that didn't last more than 6 hours..hope I'm more like her! LOL!
2Wow! I guess I really am lucky, my first son I was in labor 4 hours and my third son I was in labor 2 1/2 (my middle son was adopted).
3Oh my gosh, 38 hours! That poor woman! I'm glad it all came out for the best, though.
438 hours is a long time to be in labor.
5ok - first - why so many keri postings lately - shes horrendous. she is so mean in real life.
62nd - eeek labor! i was so long too - i PUSHED 1st out...4 hours!!!
Is she mean? That sucks...regardless that is awful how long she was in labor. I was in labor a couple of hours and that was more than enough for me!
7Yay more Keri Russell postings!!!
And poor her, 38 hours? I don't think I'm ready
for that at all!
8i can't imagine. when would the epidoral run out...or does it? they say it slows down labor, so if she did have one---phew, next time--wait longer~~~ I'm so confused, but that seems like a he** of a long time for labor.
