Apparently a light went off in Jon Gosselin's head but the timing is a bit questionable. He appeared on Larry King Live last night saying that he had an epiphany and is demanding a cease-and-desist order upon TLC to stop filming the children for Jon & Kate Plus 8 — this after TLC announced that they were dropping the father of eight from the hit show. Jon, who recently claimed that he despises his soon-to-be ex-wife Kate, admitted to making a few mistakes including saying that the children are having fun while taping episodes. King asked Gosselin if he made a lot of money from the series and Jon said, "No", but when King asked how much Gosselin made, the papa replied, "Maybe a million dollars, $500,000 after taxes."
Jon's television appearances do not seem to be helping his case in the courts or with loyal viewers who are having a hard time believing that he is speaking from the heart and not the wallet. We can only hope that Jon is truly putting his children first, but his actions are suspect. What do you think of Jon's epiphany — believe it or not?

I believe that Jon wants money, and not to be cut off from the TLC family.
I also believe that he wants to end the show, and protect his kids.
I think this guy is teetering on the wrong thing vs the right thing to do.
Cmon Jon, be a man and do the right thing, I believe in you!
1I don't think his concern is for his children. In this situation, he is only worried about himself and the money and fame he will lose out on.
2He wants to stop the show because he doesn't want kate to get the limelight or more money that he won't have access to.
This guy has become such an a** I can't stand it. He has no regard for his kids. I actually think it may be detrimental to the kids to stop filing all of a sudden because they have grown up with the production crew and love them like family. It's a bit of stability and predictability during the divorce. Now they don't even have that.
3He is an a**, I agree. It is not a coincidence that he wants to stop production now that he is not a part of it. It is an adult temper tantrum that he is having. (IF YOU WON'T PLAY WITH ME THEN YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH ANYONE!!!) What a baby.
4I'm not sure which Gosslin parent I dislike more. They both need to stop appearing on tv (he on Larry King, her lawyer on the Today Show -- last night and this morning, respectievly), and work on their family.
5I don't believe for a second it was for his kids' sake, but I fully believe he was going to pull the plug in an attempt to shop elsewhere. It doesn't make sense that TLC would just cut him out, he's a cash cow for them. They had to have been pushed into it somehow.
And in the end, I don't care if it's for himself or for the kids, the end product is getting the kids off the show, at least while they're with him. And that is a good thing. He'll go on to wh*re himself out just as much as he always has but hopefully this'll finally give the kids at least a little privacy at home.
Of course, Kate will win the right to have them film during her custodial times, which sucks.
6While I would like to believe he has realized it not such a good idea to have your family on weekly TV, I don't believe him at all. This guy seems like he has a really inflated ego. It is kind of sad that an almost middle-aged, kind of pudgy, balding father of 8 kids is running around like he is 18 again.
7People want the children to be off the TV. Now Jon has done it. And he gets blamed. Even if his intentions arent right, at least the children are no longer being on camera 24/7. And that is what everyone wants. Would Kate ever have done such a move? No.
Jon is a famewh*re, has an inflated ego blah blah blah. You know what? Kate is equally the same. She's no saint. She is the diva who gets a mom to drive 5hrs to fetch her and then demands a stretch limo instead
8Blah Blah Blah
9His wallet is about to get much lighter
And that's the only epiphany this tool is ever going to have.
