A mother's worry is never done, especially when recalls for common merchandise make the nightly news. The latest products caught in the headlines are those manufactured by Tylenol. A staple in most every mother's medicine cabinet, certain lots of Children’s and Infants' Tylenol drugs are said to be contaminated with B. Cepacia, a type of bacteria that can cause pneumonia in some children. Unlike many alerts, this one is precautionary as no illnesses or injuries have been reported in relation to the detection. Without a moment's hesitation, many mums may race to their bathroom and toss the questioned goods while others roll the dice and keep it locked up for the next cold season. What's your game plan?

This is ridiculous. Who would keep these products? Why wouldn't you just throw them out? Who are these people that you know who are "rolling the dice?" It's Tylenol, not gold bullion.
1You can check the lot number on the side of the bottle. If your bottle doesn't share the same lot # as those in the recall then you don't have to throw it out.

Be smart folks but no need to overreact.
2We don't use liquid Tylenol, we only use Tylenol Cold. For fevers, I use Feverall suppositories for a much faster and longer treatment. Obviously I will be checking the Tylenol Cold bottles we have to be sure, and toss those if they're in the recall. But I don't be tossing everything.
3There's no reason to toss everything. But if it's in the recall, why would you "roll the dice?"
4We don't have any now, but just two weeks ago we went through a newly purchased bottle while she was teething her cuspids.
5Awesome - we gave some to my son last night and guess what - ours is in the recall category. Oh crud...
6We will be getting rid of this bottle.
I'm so glad to hear that someone else goes through a bottle of painkiller for cuspid teething. They are the WORST teeth breaking through and I always feel guilty for medicating daily, but it's such a help for both of us.
7If medicine was recalled that I took, I would chuck it. If a medicine was recalled that my baby took, you can bet that I would chuck that, too. Probably faster than for myself! Why would you even consider seeing if anything bad happens to your kid? I wouldn't take that chance.
8When will safe ones be available?
9IM KEEPING MINE AS EVDIDENCE BUT I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO MY CHILD!!! I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD KEEP IT JUST INCASE YOU NEED TO PROVE THAT YOU CHILD HAS GOTTEN SICK FROM IT!!!
