Courteney Cox Arquette has returned to the small screen with her new ABC show, Cougar Town. While the half hour premiere certainly packs a punch with Jules Cobb, a forty-year-old divorcee, getting her groove back with a much younger man — was the episode enough for moms to make it a must see? The real life mother of Coco brings her likability to the table as a realtor trying to enjoy life while raising a teenage son.
But, there were also some uncomfortable moments like when Jules offers her lover a snack of peanut butter crackers (laughable) or when Travis walks in on them (unnecessary). Tell us if you think it should make Lil's list of favorite new mom series or if it caters to a different audience?

I'm not throwing the towel in yet because I really want to see the show succeed but it was definitely over the top and a little too forced.
1I was immersed in the show for about 3 minutes and fully entertained....then they lost me, and I remembered I was watching a TV show. It has potential, but cut out the patheticness of being a single divorced mom, it's depressing.
2I watched the show and I thought that it was just ok! I am holding out hope!
3The show was HILARIOUS! I really hope it stays!
4Who makes that orange print dress jules is wearing?
5I love this show! Esp. the interactions between her and her neighbor. And her friends are funny. It may be a little forced, but it's still funny, and I'm easily amused lol.
