purchasing looser clothing in bigger sizes, but there are plenty of
tricks for staying in your current clothes for a few weeks longer than expected. Check out our five additional tips for staving off a trip to the maternity store.

I bought a bra extender and it really made me soo much more comfortable and they are way cheaper than buying new bras!
The Bella Band got me through the beginning of my pregnancy and kept me in my jeans. Now I use the Bella Bands to help keep my maternity pants up. I bought Motherhood Maternity Secret Fit jeans, but they don't quite stay up so good. The Bella Band keeps them comfortably in place.
1i like maternity clothes... I didn't get any last time, i had recently lost weight so I just wore those until I couldn't and then i wore my work pants (soft waistbanded scrubs) and a roomy shirt. I had a formal christmas party at my husbands work, funnily enough i gave birth the next day, so i bought a pair of dress maternity pants and a nice shirt. It was the most comfortable day of my entire pregnancy. 9 months pregnant in formal dress clothes and i was wayyyy more comfortable. Most people i knew never really bought them so I didn't bother. I will NOT make that mistake again. I want to be as amazingly comfortable this time around. I'm 3 1/2 months now, and i'm already on to more comfortable clothing becuase all of my jeans fit me perfectly before. I will probably end up buying my first maternity items soon. I'm not fussed about fashion so i'll get comfy jeans that will grow with me.
2Love the Denim Therapy thing...but for $60 I can get a nice pair of Gap maternity jeans. Great idea though for someone with a seamstress around.
