It must be nice to say "it wasn't that bad" I tore alot and I bled so much the first couple days I had to change my mattress pad at least once every hour. I am not a fan of pads to begin with...sitting in a puddle of blood bothers me..So any time i moved and a huge puddle of blood leaked out I had to immediately change it. Even walking to the bathroom I always had blood going down my leg...yeah pretty gross. I always hear these women having such easy births with minimal bleeding and they are sitting up,happy after the birth. Not me. I was happy to hold my child but I couldn't do anything.I had no abdominal muscles what so ever left so it was hard to even sit myself up...don't even get me started on how hard it was to walk or even stand.:(
