Gag. I am sorry. These "Top 10 Reasons for an Elective Cesarean" are not effective for all women.
I cannot believe this list.
My first was born by c/s, which at first I thought was because it was necessary, I hated it so much I said I never wanted to have another child.
In the middle of my home birth, I was ready to do it again.
There is a difference in how one is born, how one births and it is not the same to have them at the hospital. I felt robbed of my opportunity.
Shame on you for making Cesareans "look good". I would never hope to abolish all Cesareans, there are emergency situations, but this reasoning is repulsive.
Women who lay on their backs during labour aren't using gravity to bring their baby down. If we used less epidurals there wouldn't be as big of a need for vacuums or forceps
