Reasons Why Some Women Prefer C-Sections
Convenience
The ability to
plan the precise timing of the birth allows parents to make work arrangements, plan for the care of an older child and give out of town family enough advance notice to be present.

ridiculous.
1I think this makes a lot of sense. For example, if your husband does a lot of traveling for business, wouldn't you want to plan so he could be there? Or if a good friend that you want to have there gets really busy that time of year? If I was having a baby and it was due in December, I would want to plan to make sure their B-day wasn't too close to Christmas so that he/she could get all the gifts they deserves, which I realize is silly reason, but I would be pissed if every year someone only gave me one present for a holiday and my birthday.
2issues aside, kids born near christmas, DO get the shaft for holidays. Ive only recieved a birthday and christmas gift 2-3 times in my entire life. Its always put together, even family and such. Its the suck but no one cares enough and they spend too much during the holidays anyway
3omg allium! my bday is exactly on christmas and i HATE it now. when i was a kid, i did get twice as many gifts but now i get the same as everyone else. ...maybe even less.
but i still wouldn't plan to have a c-section for only that reason. lol
4Just insane. You better plan to have someone be there to help you with SIX WEEKS that it takes to recover from a cesarean, not to mention the possible complications from the surgery (infection, fetal respiratory issues, breastfeeding complications, etc.) You people make it sound like you're going in for an oil change or something. It's MAJOR SURGERY.
5Good Point Feminist Breeder.
