Considering that a c-section is major abdominal surgery, it is amazing that a woman can get out of bed and go for a short walk within hours of the procedure.
Well, some hospitals will not allow this. I was forced to stay in bed for 24 hours after surgery. This was horrible!!! This was the worst part for me. As soon as I was able to get up, I felt
sooo much better. I wish I was able to get up sooner.
