24/10 LOL. I didn't watch b/c when I saw the preview and realized Jon wasn't there for her birthday, I was like 'uh oh, is this going to be an angsty episode?' So I decided to fall asleep instead LOL.
3They seemed pretty cordial in the few scenes they had together on the chair. Though they definitely sat very far apart! Not nearly the same as in the past, they are almost being too polite, not speaking on top of each other anymore, no cracking jokes at one another, etc.
4Cute episode. I loved when Jon and Kate were talking about how if one sextuplet gets something the others are jealous and the whole scene when Alexis came home from the doctor with her frappuccino, lol. I cracked up with Aaden was like so we got strawberries in our yogurt and stuck his tongue out at her and was basically like nah nah ne nah nah. They are so cute as they get older and express themselves more.
I would also like to emphasize that Kate only let them film a day of their trip. The Gosselins have never had 24/7 filming, which is something people have seemed to forget amid all of this media storm and all of the accusations.

66: That was for the one trip, if you actually believe Kate. She has contradicted herself so many times in the past already. They have admitted they film 3-4 days a week normally. It is not healthy when the kids are constantly taken away from school to go on trips just so the show has something to shoot

8Kate has openly said on the show that not everything is filmed. When they sit in the chair and talk some of the things they would talk about is the stuff that wasn't filmed. Mady was not filmed getting her braces and they made it a point not to film because they knew it would be a traumatic experience for her.

And I do believe Kate when she says that they do not film all of the time because it is obvious that they don't. As # 10 pointed out there are many things in their lives that they we do no see, such as Mady getting her braces put on. While I don't necessarily agree with Kate pulling the kids out of school to go a trip for the sake of filming, if they is indeed the case, the fact still remains that they do not have a film crew in their house all of the time filming everything that they do and Kate has always said that the kids can opt out of filming whenever they want.
I really do love this family and their show and enjoy watching the glimpse that they allow us to have into their lives. I just hate that they are being vilified so much in the media. Yes they are having a tough time in their marriage and yes they may be making some questionable decisions in how they raise their kids, but it is their life and their decisions.
