My husband and/or I spend 1 night a month preparing and freezing all the baby food our son will need for the entire month. It really does not take that much effort. Fruits and veggies can be steamed and pureed in a few minutes, while meats are baking in the oven. The purees can be frozen in ice cube trays, then popped into freezer bags. I love it, because I can concoct all sorts of delicious meals for my son by choosing different cubes to make a meal.
