My lil guy was congested and curled up against me the other night as he fell asleep. He started hacking and seemed to have trouble breathing so I picked him up and headed down the hall to recline on the sofa and allow him some relief lounging at an angle. But, halfway there the poor kid choked a bit and everything came up — all over me. It landed on my head, face, in my hair, across my hoodie and sweatpants.
As my son shook, I held him tighter to calm him and slipped out of the soiled clothes and into a dry towel so I could coax him back into a sound slumber. Then, I headed to the shower. It's funny how motherhood makes for a strong stomach and gives women a high tolerance for things that would otherwise make them queasy. Is there anything your child does that you can't handle?

I think because I'm pregnant right now I can't really handle poop. I was so lucky when my daughter soiled herself at a store, my mom was there and cleaned her up while I went to buy her a new skirt.
1Oh yeah, been there. On Thanksgiving I got hurled on by both girls...good times.
2I cleaned my dogs diarreah of the floor, there's nothing that can shock me!
3My dog recently threw up all over me, the couch, and into my husbands shoes- it was poop. She had eaten poop and then threw it up everywhere. I think after that I'm ready for the baby in September, no question.
4LOL at grumbles. That is awesome...
Yeah, I've been puked and pooped on so many times. When it's your kid, it's really not a big deal.
5I can't handle puke. I can handle poop, drool, even spit up. But not full-on chunk-blowing.
6My 13 month old had diarrhea leak out her diaper and all over the floor. She was slipping and sliding! I whisked her away into the bath tub, meanwhile my dog ate the poo off the floor!!
7I've cleaned up a lot of poop explosions from my daughter, but I am used to those. And luckily she hasn't vomited ever.
The one thing I had a really hard time with was when I was driving back from the vet and my cat had diarrhea in his carrier. We still had another 10 minutes of driving before we got home, and he had slipped and rolled around inside. By the time we got home, he was literally marinated in sh*t. I kept gagging and just thinking about it again makes me feel sick.
8Hi
9It makes me retch whenever someone's sick. Poop I can deal with but not sick. I've had two horrible experiences with my son throwing up whilst travelling. The first time we were flying to the US and he choked on a bit of orange pith and threw up all over his seat. Luckily the airline could just take the seat out and replace it. The second time was worse. We were at Washington Airport in the departure lounge having checked in our cases. We'd just eaten a MacDonalds when for no reason my son threw up all over me. I just sat there for a minute not knowing what to do, trying to find some tissues from my bag without dropping the sick onto the floor etc. What amazed me was that no-one offered to help me, give me a tissue or anything. I had to sit there for 5 or so minutes covered in sick until my husband returned from the toilet to help me. He had to go and buy a new t-shirt and shorts for me as ours were on the way to the plane and I threw the other ones out. LOL!
Cheers, Chloe

I've already had experiences with my son's chemical warfare poop and vomit that erupted like a waterfall. He's my son! That's all there is to it.
