TLC's mom of eight, Kate Gosselin, has found much success with her first two books, Multiple Bles8ings ($11) and Eight Little Faces ($14) — both hit the New York Times Best Seller list.
In November, Kate's third book, Love Is in the Mix ($30), will hit bookstores and help fellow parents "make meals into memories." Known for feeding her family organic, the star of Jon and Kate Plus 8 will share her nutritious recipes, tips for making traditions, mealtime blessings, and craft projects. Will you buy the book to use in your kitchen?

Uniqlo
It isn't because I am hating on Kate, but I just don't think we may have some of the same food preferences. I typically don't get along with a mid-western diet (organic or not).
1It made me laugh how you wrote "i'm not interested in what K does in the kitchen"
2Said no, don't know her.
I voted yes, but I don't really know why.
3I will review in the bookstore
4Nope. Probably not. Then again, I don't really buy any cookbooks. I tend to go to the internet for recipes.
5No because I don't buy cookbooks, I usually get recipes from the Internet.
6She herself said before that she does not follow cookbooks, and those who follow it are not real chefs. And now she's writing a cookbook. Oh the irony
7After clicking on the link to see her recipes mentioned here in the past.... Cream cheese on bread with cucumbers? Umm k. Putting apple on a turkey sandwich and calling it fall? Groundbreaking. A jar of peanut butter and a banana on bread? Wow, innovative.
I hate to be a hater but if this is what one can look for in that book, thats pretty disappointing.
8i love kid cookbooks and own quite a few. but i won't buy hers. i'm not interested in her traditions or mealtime blessings, especially given that her loving family is kind of a farce.
she needs to stop all this nonsense and really focus on her kids and her marriage. kids don't need a 1.5 million dollar home to feel loved. they don't need trips to hawaii at the expense of their innocence and their parents' marriage. she keeps saying she's doing this for her kids, but i question that.
9Hell no, all she really ever makes is "monkey munch" which is basically a bag of sugar. And she is so misinformed she thinks turkey bacon means it's healthy. Hey, maybe she can start making Rooster Bacon, you know, it would be named after her hair!
10I agree with you Nadia!! I couldn't believe when I saw her make that, especially since she's so big on organic and healthy foods. Ugh!
11so she goes from writing books about her kids to a cookbook?? i would not by it..who needs a bunch of recepies for kiddie snacks and meals?!
12Eeh. I'm not big on buying cookbooks. I might page through it at the bookstore if I ever see it. Who knows?
13I absolutely would not buy a KG cookbook. I have never seen anything she's cooked on TV that I considered healthy. Most of my recipes come from Nourishing Traditions and from a website, Nourishing Gourmet.
It seems like she's just exploiting her kids once again. She's a nutjob.
14I don't understand why so many people bash Kate. I think she's an amazing mother. I go nuts with my toddler so I can't imagine having another seven kids to chase around and cook for. I think her heart is in the right place and given her success with the show I still think she's grounded, she just has more money now. Maybe all you bashers are secretly a little jealous? No offence. I just don't understand why so many people dislike her.
15Kate doesn't think that turkey bacon is healthy. In fact, because it's unhealthy, she said she only makes it once or twice a year. If you don't like her so much then why do you watch the show?
16I think Kate is great! It is just jealousy from all the haters. If you were all given the same opportunities, you would take them in a flash. She is a strong woman who is doing an amazing job of pushing her family forward to have a good life. Nobody is perfect, even everyone who is quick to comment on others (see comments above hehe). I would buy her cookbook, and will when it is released in the UK.
17Instead of being so quick to judge, how about giving this a thought! If you were in her position and had to take care of and provide for all those kids (and this doesn't include putting just food on the table, anybody who has kids knows how expensive it can be!)
18It's not a matter of how healthy it is for these kids to be on a tv show, or how many books Kate writes, or what she does wrong or right!
It's a matter of putting food in her childrens mouths, and giving them the things they need and deserve.
If she can use the media, to provide for her family so be it..stop being so naive everyone and look at the bigger picture!
