I know many a baby that suffers from Goldilocks syndrome — the milk is too cold or too hot. Mamas out running errands or flying in the sky may appreciate the ingenuity of the Iiamo self-heating bottle. Lucky for us, creator Karim Rashid, who has also designed for Prada, Audi, Sony, and Lacoste, brought his vision to parenthood.
Mommies begging for cups of warm water or hunting for a microwave can relax. Free of BPA, PVC, lead and phthalates, the sleek Iiamo bottle self heats contents to body temperature in about four minutes with a self-contained organic heating cartridge made of salt and water. The $38 price includes one six-ounce bottle, one nipple, and a single heating cartridge. So tell your babe the treat's going to be juuuuust right.

I would buy them just because they are cute, and if they really work I would use them and if not I would still keep them.
1I would have paid anything for this last year. We would be at the park for 3 hours for my older son's baseball game and my 3 month old refused to drink anything that was less than warm. This would have been perfect.
2Ha, when my sister was a baby, but able to talk, she'd say (demand) to my mom: I want my bobby (bottle)! Now! HEAT IT !... if only this existed 20+ years ago for my poor mom
3Does the heating thing only work once? Or is it reusable?
4I can't vote either way. I think it is a very cool idea, but it isn't for me. So I vote BOTH! I liked that my son didn't care what temperature the milk was and I think it's because I never spoiled him with warm milk. He drank what I gave him from birth, which happened to be cold alot of the time, so using this bottle might just spoil him. It is very cool for those mom's whose kids refuse anything but warm milk though.
5It had me until the price and the fact that it only included one single use cartridge. My 3 month can be as easy going as you'd want re: bottle temps, and sometimes she's as much of a diva regarding the temp as you could imagine. We travel constantly, so on the go heat would be somewhat nice (and more convenient when she get's hungry about 20 minutes after I've pumped and moved the milk to the cooler). But, not for that price and only with single use cartridges.
6It's only 13 bucks for six cartridges. Not too bad if you're not around a microwave often. I wouldn't use it on a daily basis... But for a football game, or days outside. Sure! It's definitely cheaper than my cup of coffee!!
