Nine Ways to Lose the Baby Weight
Breastfeeding
Though many women claim that breastfeeding is their weight loss regime,
some know otherwise. Breastfeeding does help women lose postpartum weight by releasing hormones that help shrink the uterus faster. Nursing moms must also drink significant amounts of water, which helps produce milk and aid in weight loss. That said, nursing moms are advised to eat an additional 500 calories per day, so don't be surprised if the weight doesn't drop off until you wean your lil one.

umm... water doesn't help produce breast milk. it stops you from becoming dehydrated. any lc will tell you that drinking more water doesn't increase milk - emptying the breast does.
