When babe's nursery is cramped with a crib, dresser, rocking chair and bookcase many parents think they can do without a changing table. Certainly families can deal without one by changing diapers on the floor or in the crib, but when the nappy runneth over, it's nice for the mess to be caught on a washable pad instead of the carpet. When space is an issue, wall mounted changing tables may be mum's answer.

Simple: The IKEA Antilop ($70) table is simple and white making it easy to decorate around and disguise on a wall.
Swank: For 10 times the IKEA option, Bo Ekstrom's wall mounted changing table ($750) offers a more modern look with bent wood and built in shelves.

Hmm. Well I don't think I would trust an Ikea-made wall mounted changing table, but I wouldn't want to spend $750 on a changing table either.
1The swank looks better but the price is ridiculous.
2They're both completely fug and why would you ruin a wall with that? Just get one that sits across the top of the crib if you're strapped for space.
3The simple is sleek and not too bad. If I could figure out some heavy duty wall anchors, I'd have no problem.
Personally, I'm going to take a vintage table and cover the top with foam and upholster it with sleek, non-porous vinyl. That's a $20 project I *know* won't fall off the wall.
