its so obvious who favorites are in families
i think parents should always stay neutral and pretent they don't have one, but most parents do and it's no secret
1In my family, with my mom and dad...they acted like my brother was their favorite with all the attention and stuff. But, in reality, I was because I was awesome. My mom never said I was her "favorite" but she doesn't trust my brother, and he is really a bastard to her.
My extended family thought I was a goddess, who was pretty, smart, and above all else -- normal.
2Too honest. It's fine to have a favourite (we're humans!) but that shouldn't be obvious to the kids. Otherwise, hello there sibling rivalry!
