Where are the wild things? They're hanging out on toy store shelves, apparently. The recent release of the trailer and first poster for the film version of Where the Wild Things Are has the Internet abuzz and companies showing off their wild paraphernalia. The movie, which is scheduled to be released Oct. 16, is a Spike Jonze-directed adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story. You can get your family prepared for the flick with Where the Wild Things Are dolls ($28).

cute! anyone else go to the wild things interactive exhibit they had in downtown SF up until about 3 years ago? it was awesome. little sail boat to get into and "sail away" 2 story high monster painted on the wall, forest of trees to run through, etc.
