As a woman it's imperative to calculate your daily intake of water and make sure to keep yourself hydrated. Did you know you need to up your intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding? According to the Mayo Clinic:
Women who are expecting or breastfeeding need additional fluids to stay hydrated. Large amounts of fluid are used especially when nursing. The Institute of Medicine recommends that pregnant women drink 2.3 liters (about 10 cups) of fluids daily and women who breast-feed consume 3.1 liters (about 13 cups) of fluids a day.
