There's no denying these custom baby accordion books are remarkably beautiful, but is having a professionally made brag book worth the $175 price tag? The concept is very simple: you send the company 15 photos and it creates a fan book to match your images, prints it on fancy paper and add pretty ribbons. I am wowed by the look and think they would make the ideal gift for family members, but overwhelmed by the cost. What's your take?

We made these in art class in high school. They are super easy to make and now with super easy photo software, they are even easier.
1i think they are beautiful but dont see why you would need this. it would just go in the baby book/box eventually and could just as easily be a beautiful collage that you made yourself for free.
2You can make something MUCH better than this with iPhoto on Macs for a tiny fraction of that cost! $175 is highway robbery!
3how many do you get for $175?
4if you get a bunch (like say 30) then i'd say yes it's cute and worth it, but if it's just one or five or something, no way!
These are good for grandmas and other relatives but $175 is silly as they just aren't in use that long. Is Grandma really hauling down to the hair salon 15 years later? For that price she should be
5i looked on their site and (while beautiful) they are $175 for one and $100 for additional copies - no thanks!
6If anyone votes that they can't do this themselves, I hope they mean they don't have the software and a printer, not that it's impossible. This is an easy project to do at home for a fraction of the cost.

$175??? i don't think so.
8I say put that money into a savings account for jr.'s college fund.
9It looks nice, but way too expensive!
10Unrelated, but the term "brag book" makes me want to GAG!
11What makes this so extraordinary is the photography - not necessarily the format. Yes, anyone can put this kind of thing together, but it won't look the same without really beautiful photos like these.
