If you like the look of a personalized onesie, but can't stand the thought of shelling out good money for something your lil one will outgrow in a few months, I've found a DIY option that should do the trick. Meyamo Customized Onesies ($26) come with a trimmed onesie, a bag of fuzzy, iron-on letters and an easy to understand set of instructions. Simply mix and match the letters, some of which are embellished with cute designs, and press them onto the garment. Within minutes you have your own custom creation that you know you created yourself. Not bad for an afternoon's work!

That's a better looking onesie but I made a custom one at cafepress.com for $16.08. That included shipping!! It had our company's logo on it and was a gift for my husband before the baby was born.
1I was going to suggest cafepress as well. $26 for a onesie is still insane.
2Or you could just buy a pack of onesies, and a pack of iron on sheets and make your own. The sheets cost about $5 for a set of ten, and you just print them off your computer like you do regular paper.....WAY cheaper than anything else. Not to mention I've order stuff from cafepress and for the cost their quality is terrible!!
3The baby stuff I get at cafepress is good quality, as are the plain adult tshirts. The maternity and stuff like Raglan, not so much.
4the idea is adorable, but i was going to suggest what Aphrosette said. i remember a baby shower i went to once, and they had a onesie for each guest, with these iron ons and fabric paint. all the guests designed their own onesie for the baby, nd im sure it would be a tresured possession for the parents and baby for later!
