If your pancake flipping skills aren't prepared for the animal skillet, you might try the Heart and Daisy or Truck and Airplane pancake molds ($15 each).
Instead of pouring batter into a skillet and braving the flip, you place the mold on the griddle, then pour in the batter and cook until it's safe to remove the molds, flip the pancakes and cook. No more messy pancake slipping and sliding and your tots will go bananas for the fun shapes.

I got some Halloween pancake molds from Williams-Sonoma a few months ago, & while it's a cute idea, I really don't think it's worth the hassle. It took 2 people to do them--I pushed the molds down while my husband poured the batter so it wouldn't leak out from under the uneven edges, then I used a skewer to unstick the batter from the sides (yes, we did use PAM, & no, it still didn't work). While all this was going on, the eggs burned & the bacon never got made. After 4 or so we gave up.
1i think they would be for like valentines day or something special. not something i'd use everytime i make breakfast.
