Sometimes you have to meet your kid in the middle. My daughter is pretty easygoing so when she asked for pink hair, I knew I'd be able to talk her into something a little less appearance altering. At four and a half, dye was out of the equation even if she pressed, but I was willing to cave on a wig. Then, an attachable pink hair piece caught her eye while we were passing Claire's at the mall. For $6, it brought a shock to her locks, me a peace of mind, and everyone was happy.

good call, Lil!
I was hell bent on dying my hair pink in 9th grade. I did... and while my parents weren't thrilled, I didn't drink, didn't do drugs, had good grades, and played sports... I think they realized pink hair wasn't the end of the world.
