"I've jokingly told my friends who have sons the same age as Gracie that I'm going to hit the nicest boy of the bunch right off the bat so when he goes to school with a black eye, all of the other boys will see that I've punched the nicest one and they'll be scared to death of me."

7For those taking this so serious, Tim states with his first word is that he JOKINGLY tells his friends this......He felt the need to even preface the story by stating it's a joke.But those who want to be negative read only what they want to.
8Ugh, I'm kind of sick of this double standard continuing to perpetuate. What if his daughter is the aggressor or initiator and what about concern for his sons dating?
I get it's supposed to be cute, but the protective fatherly sentiment is starting to feel a bit too inaccurate and outdated for me to smile.
