Damon Weaver has already interviewed Joe Biden and Caroline Kennedy, but the Florida fifth grader was denied press credentials to interview the president-elect. The aspiring journalist, who already has quite an accomplished resume, will board his first flight to Washington for the inauguration thanks to tickets from Congressman Alcee Hastings and donors who paid for his trip. The 10-year-old hopes to score an interview with Barack Obama and fulfill his dream.

I saw this little dude interview Joe Biden and loved it — he's smart and adorable. Not sure if he should be interviewing the prez at inauguration time — isn't it more important to have real newshounds go at it? — but I'd love it if Obama could fit him in another time.
1Bella's right, his Biden interview was young journalistic gold - he's a real little force to be reckoned with and I think Obama's people would be seriously wrong to not find a little time for him.
2I agree with steph... Obama's team needs to find some time for this little guy. Kudos to Damon and good luck.
3I really hope he gets the interview. He says that he'll be there all week. Lucky kid.
4SO CUTE!!! It is nice to see young children getting involved in the politics of their country.
