When moms blog, we often broadcast aspects of our lives including stories about our partners and tidbits about our children similar to how women swap stories (or vent) at the playground. Do you think it's appropriate?

No, most of these mom bloggers make a LIVING off of it, and if their partners who are along for that ride dont like personal issues out there? than they need to speak up. Most of the ones I read, amalah, dooce, girls gone child etc.....divulge some things but never cross the line.
1Seems like most of those men got into it after the blogs already existed. On some level they knew what they were getting into. I liken it to dating a celebrity, if you wanted privacy you just wouldn't do that.
2I hadnt ever thought any take it too far, im pretty candid though. The only blog ive ever read/heard that sorta bugged me was the circumscision one.
3Their life, they know their limits. I personally don't share stories about my husband without telling him because I know it would make him uncomfortable. Not everyone has that same comfort/discomfort level.
4And I voted other because it all depends on who it is and their life, not what I think is appropriate. It's not my blog and family.
5It just depends what's being blogged--the only issue I can see is how the kids will feel when they grow up a bit and understand how much about them their moms have shared with the world. I can see the potential for a lot of embarrassment.
6I voted no, but I think it really depends. If you're blogging about your sex life and putting down your husband, then yeah, you've taken it too far (unless he's aware). If you're blogging about your kids, anything goes, as long as you aren't putting your child in danger.
