Washing your lil bundle is not always a joy for rookie moms and dads. A tiny newborn can slip and slide in his baby bath, making new parents weak in the knees. Instead of dreading bath time, think about buying a bath sponge to place inside your baby's tub until he grows into it (or you feel more comfortable). The large firm sponge provides a slide resistant bottom and is contoured to help keep your newborn in proper position for bathing. At just under $7, sponges such as the Comfy Bear Bath Sponge, is money well spent, especially if it means that you (and your wee one) will actually enjoy bath time in the future.

We had this, it works great. Our problem was having nowhere to set it to dry, which sucked.
1My baby tub had a foam bottom, and was curved for her to be cradled in it. It was great. It came with something like this to set in for infants, but my daughter was born over 9 pounds and was way too big for it.
2Greggie -I just ring mine out and stand it up next to the shower. It dries out fine.
3We don't have a spot for that because of the cats. That's why it sucks. I didn't mean the product sucked, the product is great. I meant it sucked that we didn't have a "secure" spot to dry it.
