Santa likes his cookies, so maybe, just maybe he's leaving your tot a red-hot retro kitchen under the tree! The set will occupy your offspring's time while they make inedible eats. Lucky for St. Nick they come at two price points to accommodate the wad of cash he has in his sack.
Simple: The KidCraft Vintage Kitchen Play Center ($110) is made of sturdy wood and offers ample storage, oven knobs that click and turn, a cordless telephone and supplies like a ladle, pot, and apron.
Swank: Pottery Barn Kids Retro Sink, Icebox, and Oven ($700) has fun features like a sink that holds water, removable salt and pepper shakers, and a ticking timer.
Which one do you prefer?
*Update: The simple version is currently on sale for $98!

we have this exact kidcraft kitchen, and my boys love it. the PBK one looks wonderful, we just don't have the space for it.
1the PBK kitchen is adorable but not quite worth the money! If you have an outlet store near by they carry last years model for 75% off! Price is right and way better than the retro kitchen!
2The simple one is so much cuter anyway. The swank one looks like gas station pumps.
3I prefer the simple one, but i dont really like either. I agree taht they look like gas station pumps, lol. and the price is OUTRAGIOUS.
We decided on the grand walk in for our daughter. when my siblings and i were younger, my father built us a whole kitchen, hes an awesome wood crafter. They were seperate peices like the pbk one, but actually looked like mini versions of the real things. They are so awesome, the grandkids will be using them at my moms house because after 20 odd years, and over 6 kids playign with them, they dont even remotely show any wear.
4I love the Pottery Barn Kids kitchen sets, but they are so expensive. I don't know who can afford to buy them for their children. You are better off putting that money into a college fund.
