The Girls of Gap!
Gap called out for parents to
enter their kids in the company's annual Casting Call and boy, oh boy did moms and dads answer! Nearly 900,000 entries were submitted before they were narrowed down to twenty finalists. Those cuties and their chaperones made their way to San Francisco a few weeks ago for a professional photo shoot that I was lucky enough to attend. After meeting quite a few of the lil darlings, I don't know who to choose! It's

why does GAP only picks that are lighter-skinned? I don't see anyone up there that even closely resembles a darker-skinned Asian, African, South American, etc.
And why does the African-American/black kid always have to have the stereotypical curly-hair look? How about a little girl with braids?
Ugh. not voting any of them...not because they are not cute, but because gap is too whitewashed.
