2Halle, Baby! She waited a long time for this and looks like she loves being a mom.
3Jessica Alba- maybe it's because we had our babies a few days apart, and she just seems like such a good mommy.
4We need "other" options on these polls. Giada DeLaurentis? I tease my husband because Giada and Jessica Alba are his two big crushes and had baby girls near the time we did, and they all have the same middle name of Marie.
Anyway, I'm torn between Amy Poehler, who I love, and Camila Alves, who I share a name with although I use two Ls. I'll let you know who I decide on.

It's impossible to make this call unless you know each of them personally. Being as we are only exposed to what the media shows us, my vote for Favorite New Mom of 2008 is my gorgeous sister.
13I picked Halle Berry. She seems to be a dedicated mom. Camilla Alves just screams 'gold digger', and Jessica Alba always looks pissed.

22Where's Christina Aguilera on this list? She's my favorite new mom. Besides the People photo shoot with Max after he was born, she has kept him out of the spotlight for the most part and she seems to really love being a mom.
