I love this style, we've done it for all three kids because regular "round" hats made their heads look like basketballs.
1these are too cute, but is this really a new trend? i've been wearing my cute knit hat with ears since i was in high school 9 years ago (yes I won't grow up)
2I was thinking it wasn't a new trend either, considering my older kids are 8 and 6 and were wearing them as babies.

4I LOVE WINTER HATS!! lol its seriously my weakness. I am SUCH a sucker for winter outerwear for babies. My daugther owns FAR too many hoodies (from kohls with ears), winter hats with soft fuzzy ears, and im desperately waiting for her to be able to wear her sherpa coat.
5And of course I will look like a horrible mother for not putting a hat on my kid. But every time I do he just yanks them off and throws them to the ground. I've already lost 2. I just try to put a hooded jacket on so at least it won't get lost.
6lol Kairi was pretty good with hats from early on. She went through a period where she would just yank it off repeatedly, though. I usually put the hat/hood on her and then distract the crap out of her until she forgets about it. It usually works pretty well. She wore her winter hat around the house all day yesterday lol.
