Every year there seems to be one toy that parents will get in a frenzy over to get for their tots. Remember the Tickle Me Elmo or the Nintendo Wii for 2007? This year Elmo is hot again with Elmo Live. This lifelike doll is flying off the shelves this holiday season. Will you be buying it?

I bought this last month online during a prebuy sale. My daughter saw it in the store last week and didn't want to put it down! So I think she will love it!
1I got it as soon as it came out. My kiddo saw it in the store and loved it!
2The big thing we got our daughter was the Dora dollhouse. Way overpriced, but I think it's something she'll play with for awhile. And hey I guess I've done my part for the economy.
3My husband pre-ordered it as soon as he saw it online.
4this is really the it toy? I saw a bunch of them at toys r us after like noon on black friday...
5That thing would drive me insane. In general we don't do toys that require batteries--my husband and I would much rather encourage using your imagination.
6thank goodness my son only watches noggin and they have zero commercials so he doesnt know anything about the "it" toys
7No. I had no idea it was the hot toy this year either. But the other Elmos drove me nucking futs so I doubt I'll ever buy another.
8Today's "it" toy is tomorrow's garage sale item.

10we bought it for her birthday last week tho...so we need to find something SUPER COOL for her for Christmas!

11No, but not because it's over-priced, but because it's not really age appropriate for my son. He's too young to care about that stuff. I'll probably buy him some wood block that he'll end up throwing around the house lol and a small fish tank with a pretty fish or two. He loves watching them at our friends house so I thought we'd get one for home.
12i knew this was hot, but dont really like it. maybe if he really wanted it but for now he has no idea!
