Ho ho ho and go go go shopping! Santa's entrance into New York's Herald Square marked the official start of the holiday shopping season. Since the economy is sagging and there are just a limited number of days until Christmas, stores are trying their best to get you though their doors — fast! Big-name retailers are offering incredible door buster deals on the hot items of the season, but you have to be willing to get out of bed early!
Are you going to brave the crowds and sacrifice shuteye for the incredible deals?

No Thanksgiving here so no Black Friday. If I was in the US I would probably go but het out of there fast as I hate crowds in stores.
1Not a chance in hell.
2I have always wanted to. I live close enough the the States that one year I will take this Friday off of work and head over to Buffalo.
3Until then, I settle with Boxing Day shopping.
No way.
4Will be avoiding the stores at all cost today. I am however enjoying some online shopping
5No....I have absolutely no desire to deal with a bunch of crazy shoppers at 5:00 in the morning.
6Hell no. I am almost about to give birth,no way was I gonna get up and waddle around the stores looking for bargains with tons of crazy people trampling over each other.
7We went after 8 in the morning so the rush was minimal. Fun time with my sister.
8Hell no, I stayed my black ass right in my bed.
9I went out and got some goodies at USAbaby and we went to the mall and got Santa pictures done. It wasn't a mess or really crowded anywhere when we went out.
10I ended up having to go to our Mills mall and my head almost exploded. They had line markers outside the Disney store and it was nearly impossible to move at all.
11I was able to get my deals from the comfort of my own home. The deals aren't worth fighting all the people. I hate being around that many people, I would rather pay more.
12i guess i was the only one, i went at 10 pm and didn't get out till 7 am all for a stupid DS for my daughter, after that i felt stupid for waiting all those hours so my fiance and i bought ourselves a Wii so not worth all those damn hours never again, btw we were the first ones in line
13I have no idea why anyone would want to be part of this "herd the cattle" shopping rush
14For some people, it's the only way they can afford some of the items for their kids.
15no i did not....and greggie..you're right...sometimes the parents want one special thing for their child...and they can't afford full price...so they'll go out.
