One of my fondest childhood memories is watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV while my mom began our holiday dinner preparations. I have begun passing the tradition on to my children as we gather in front of the tube to see their favorite characters make their way to Herald Square. With Snoopy, Horton, Dora and Kermit in the lineup this year, will you be tuning in with your kids?

3Watching the parade was never really and hard and fast tradition, but my son is 20 months old and I really think he'll get a kick out of the balloons. We drove by where they were blowing them up today, but it was too early to see anything other than a half inflated smurf.

5We'll be there! I can't wait...to wait in the cold...but the faces of my kids when they see those huge balloons (especially Buzz) are going to be priceless!!
