An outing to the movies can make a parent nervous. My kids both had their first silver screen experience as infants zipped up in my husband's jacket. For older tots, some movie theaters offer up booster seats to make your lil ones more comfortable or serve kid meals during the film. With kiddie-geared Madagascar 2 currently in theaters, we're curious how old your children were when you first took them to the movies?

We went to What Lies Beneath when my son was a couple weeks old, but I'm guessing that doesn't count since he slept or nursed through the whole thing. *lol*
His first "real" movie was just before he turned three when we went to Finding Nemo. We also took my second son, who was about 5 months, but it's not like he watched it or anything.
My second son was well over three before we took him to a movie to sit and watch because he was much less likely to sit still. But I guess officially, they were both under a year.
